Thank you in advance for volunteering your time, resources, and prayer to our brothers and sisters at The Bend. The reactions from staffers the past five years of doing this have been awesome! For accountability reasons, we pair guys with guys and girls with girls.
We encourage you to pray for your staffer once you have been paired. Pray for them by name and over their summer at Riverbend. Be specific in your prayer; think back to what you needed when you were a staffer.
Consider sending them a care package. These aren’t necessary, but will bring joy to the staffers who receive them. Care packages should also be shipped to Riverbend using the address below, attention: Your Staffer. There is more information with suggestions for ways to send goodies on the care package page including an Amazon wish list, and the camp's gift shop.
Write another letter. Even if your staffer hasn’t written back to your first letter, we would like you to write a second letter. We encourage handwritten letters this time. However, we understand the convenience of electronic letters. You can use the letter submission page to send an electronic letter, and we’ll have someone at the Bend deliver it to your staffer. Feel free to write as often as you like.

You’re encouraged to meet your staffer at one of the on-camp alumni opportunities this summer. (Visit our events page for more info about those.) Make sure to ask Will, Hannah, Meghan, or Christian for an introduction or to point out your Team 5:11 partner.
